What's A Widget?
A variety of
interchangeable terms come to mind in response to that question,
terms like
contraption, gadget, gizmo, black box,
doodad, dohickey,
whatchamacallit. Like widget, each of these
synonyms represent:
"A device that is very useful for a particular job"

that do particular jobs. We don't build schedule
management tools. We make widgets to simplify their use.
